Unofficial explanation: they're holding production until they can figure out
how to graft the sensor and related equipment into the Leica 0.

Actually, not at all a good sign - given how long this product has been
promised, and given how limited its production is, no one should have them
"in stock" for the first year or so - they should all be going directly to
customers with pre-orders.
