Subject: [Leica] Um, how do you dilute?

OK, I have the next roll of film to process (HP5+ this time). The
suggestion is to dilute to may be counteract the effect of the Jobo's
constant agitation. Now, normally I use Xtol straight mix. The tank holds
500 ml, but it says for constant agitation, I can put in 250 ml. of
developer, so this is what I do.

So to dilute it 1 to 1, should I keep using 250ml. total and cut the
concentration in half? Or should I just add 250ml of water and use 500 ml.
of total solution? The actual amount of Xtol is different in both cases.
What to do?

Thanks.
