I have both a hard drive and a DVD burner. I used the PC as a middleman whenever I did it. Along those lines, have been looking at the new Ipod Photo for remote storage. It has an optional USB plug that allows you to plug the camera into the device with the USB cable just like it is a computer. The 60Gb model should hold a fair amount of pictures. Has anyone on the list used one yet? Thanks, Bill. What I try to do is to copy pics directly from a CF card to an external USB hard drive using a PDA instead of a PC/notebook. Some PDAs have both CF slot and USB connector. I wonder if a PDA (e.g. Dell Axim) can act like a PC/notebook. It'd be very nice for travel. It requires the PDA acting like a USB host and I think USB-OTG can do that but am not sure if any current PDA implemented it. Thanks.
