Subject: [Leica] CF unload to a usb drive through PDA?

Lee,
My old PDA, a Compaq, had a sleeve that held a CF card and I copied data
files including pictures using it. When it was hooked to the PC via the USB
sync unit, I could access the card as another drive. My current unit, a
Garmin 3600, uses a SD card and have done the same thing. As a rule I use a
Dazzle 10 in 1 USB reader though.

Subject: [Leica] CF unload to a usb drive through PDA?

Hi,

Does anyone have experience to copy pics from a CF
card to a USB drive through a PDA? I was told Dell
Axim x50v can do that with built-in CF card port and
usb port (source: dell support line). It'd be very
convenient if it's true.

To make it relavent, assuming the pics taken with
leica lens on a 20D :)

Thanks.

Lee
