Whelan's bio says that Capa frequently used whatever he could lay 
hands on, especially in the early years when his personal camera was  
often in hock.  Frequently he borrowed cameras from friends or his 
employer du jour.  The pix in Whelan show him with both, in later 
years mostly Contax, and of course the Rollei.
