But I'm also impressed by the technical quality of the digital presentations. It's not easy to get the tonal qualities reflected in these images. Some of the best I've ever seen! I'm curious to know if they were scans of negatives, or scans of prints made from the negs. I'd wish there was some detail on the whole workflow, for that matter. The photographs are phenominal. But someone had to get them to look good on a CRT. Was it because of a master printer, or a master scanner, or a master Photoshopper, or a combination?
