[Leica] Good news -- just hired by Yale

I have good news to report! I've just been invited to join the 
faculty  at Yale University as an assistant professor of 
anthropology. I'll be teaching courses centered around my research 
specialities of minorities in Japan as well as courses on visual 
anthropology and field methods.

I'm starting up in the fall. This means that my summer just got a bit 
more hectic as I still have some of my research still to finish. I'm 
sad to be leaving St. Paul Minnesota and it's a bit odd to join the 
faculty of your alma mater as a peer.  I'm looking forward to meeting 
the other group members  in New York, Philadelphia, etc.
