I also shoot with an E-1 and in addition to using the E-1 lenses, use 
a Olympus Zuiko 50 1.2 with an adapter - Non-Olympus digital lenses 
when used on the E-1 are used in completely manual mode - no data, 
stop-down metering, etc.
