Subject: [Leica] M4-P + Winder M4-2

Hello LUG,

I have just finished developping 18 rolls of films I shot this couple of
weeks, the number of shots has drastically increased these days thanks
to the M4-2 Winder I acquired a week ago. It's bulky, it's heavy, and
it's noisy, using it denies virtually every reason I started to use
Leica for, but what a heck it is fun.

There is one concern, though. It was one evening I was shooting with
slow speeds like 1/8 and 1/15, I accidentally released my finger from
the shutter button while the shutter was still in operation. Winder made
a big *bump* noise at first and did not wind until I pressed and
released the button again.

I know a little bit about Leica M mechanism and if I remember correctly
Leica M's keeps the winding mechanism locked until the shutter operation
was complete(correct me if I am wrong), but I have a gut feeling that
what I did harmed my M4-P or the winder if not both to some degree. Is
there anyone out there who ran into trouble doing exactly what I did?

I checked all the speed on M4-P and even did test shooting. Everything
still seems fine.
