I do exactly the same thing on bidders, as I have been doing a fair
amount of selling on Ebay recently. In about 25 recent sales I've only
had one buyer who was even slightly difficult to deal with. Which
doesn't mean that there aren't horror stories out there.

Depends, some people still want to see an actual product before buying.
I always check the feedback on Ebay before bidding. I've never had a
problem buying or selling, but some I know have.

Guess someone better get started on the Ebay's Guide to Buying Leica
Cameras and Lenses.
