they need to do market research and 

                 come up with todays product, 
                add a good sales force and sell the hell out of it. 

it is that simple. we all know they make stuff. making stuff is easy,
selling is hard.

i remember how everybody was so upset when the got rid of the last
ceo, now you know why. he took the company down the wrong path.

on the other hand (except automotive) Germany like us has become a
service oriented society and thats the beginning of the end most
manufacturing
