I think there are some great images here, but I must echo BD's comment 
that none of them say anything about the commemorations.
On a probably inflammatory side issue, I question why they have been 
posted on the Leica list as they are nothing to do with Leica 
photography per se, although they echo the genre of reportage for which 
Leica is justifiably renowned. I no longer post here because I no longer 
shoot anything that uses Leica in any way. I can just accept Leica 
lenses on various digital bodies, but this is bordering on exploitation 
of the list.
