I can't speak for B.D., but, for me, images like this one are sometimes fascinating because of their tonal values, their colors, and their mystery. It's a Rorschach Test, of sorts. They invite viewers to ponder the image and find meaning in it all their own. It is actually a crop of a larger picture. The larger image would make clear that it's just a reflection from a glass door on the sidewalk. I don't find these very often.
