I already stated the possibility that the cost would be less ( less glass of
less costly materials).  .... anyone know for sure ?

The MSRP of the current 75 'Lux is currently at $2895... the B+H market
price.   But keep in mind that real competition for all new lenses is also
the used lens..... at roughly $1300-1600 for the 75.

As a figure if comparison, the 90AA is $2295.....  This new 75 should be
around the same price......  Would $600 stop most target Leica owners from
buying the more expensive lens?

The 90 Macro Elmar ( without the close up tube) is $1295.

 Presumably the new 75 would carry a somewhat lower price tag
compared to Summilux 75.
