You've perfectly captured the essence of our Tidewater winters. They
possess a certain 'texture' that the uniform snowdrift of a Cape Cod
blizzard simply cannot reproduce.

We have Jamesean winters. Cape Cod dwells in the world of Cotton
Mather: all white; all black.

Cheers,

Chandos

BTW (but not as callus aside): thanks to all for comments on PAW 11.
It's gratifying to get feedback, my friends.

Really nice photo. Makes me feel chilly and want something warm to
drink. Am hoping to find some similar scenes on Cape Cod next weekend
- if I can navigate around the remains of their 32" snowfall last
week.
