[Author Prev] [Author Next] [Thread Prev] [Thread Next] [Author Index] [Topic Index] [Home] [Search]You made a wise choice in the Rolex GMT which is a concept designed watch and which spawned many copies by other wannabes etc Sadly in todays BATA ( buy and throw away ) consumerism - such luxuries are far and few in between There is a common thread in the world of cars and watches - in that many cars install massed produced power trains and call them by their newly branded names whilst ETA the Swiss mass producer of watch movements supply easily more than 90% of so called mechanical and Swiss made watches of boutique houses ( sic ) This commonality is now spreading to lenses and cameras with the likes of Tamron, Kiron and the now widely known company of Cosina Voigtlander.
