Even if the ZI lenses allow scale focussing at
distances nearer than .7 metres, this would be a good
thing.

The Leitz-badged 21/3.4 Super-Angulon and some of the
subsequent 21/2.8 Elmarits allowed scale focus down to
.4 metres (a little less than 16 inches) and this
could be a useful option at times.
