When I look at images I took with mine in the early 70s, I have to ask myself why I sold it. But then I can't tell you what it is that I like about it. ;-) -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Chandos Michael Brown Sent: Sunday, January 09, 2005 8:58 PM To: 'Leica Users Group' Subject: RE: [Leica] Summicron DR on M6TTL? Evidently there are some issued with the slightly raised top-plate of the M6 and the DR bug eyes. I believe there's a remedy for this. Without the bug eyes, the DR will mount as any other M lens. It's a great lens, with a distinctive signature. Cheers! Hello, I would like to know if anyone has experience using a DR summicron on an M6TTL. Is it possible? If not, why? Please explain any problems (or lack of trouble) in using DR on the TTL. (I do not require the close focusing and would not be using the eyes.) I enjoy older lenses... and I like the images I have seen from that particular lens, but do not know if it functions well with my camera.
