Even a tad more gorgeous than usual, Doug - must be that Canon glass! Or
is it that Leica extender? :-) Seriously, wonderful detail and tonality,
and the composition isn't half-bad either.

Nope, tripod. I've done a little with this setup on a shouldr stock,

I had a chance to try out my LeiCanon 560mm f/4 (Canon 400mm f/2.8 +
Leica 1.4x APO-Extender):

http://wildlightphoto.com/birds/tyrannidae/blph00.html

Technical stuff: Leicaflex SL2, Canon FD 400mm f/2.8 L, Leica 1.4x
APO-Extender-R, E200 film. Getting detail in both the white feathers
and the black areas has proven difficult in bright light so I took
advantage of the diffused light of a foggy day for this photo. Exposure
was about 1/60 sec @ f/4. This is a crop of about 50% of the slide
area.

All comments welcome.
