Hi Frank:

That's my understanding of the situation as well.  I'm going to wait for 
the DMR, but may go ahead with another solution if Leica announces 
another delay.

I've tried a Pentax *isD and am impressed with its features, light 
weight and resulting images. I can use all of my AF lenses on it and 
also my "old but good" screw mount Takumars.

Gubbins... is that a UK technical term?  :-)
