If you can get a copy of it, or read it online, today's  NYT is
excellent photographically

1) the NYT picks of outstanding pics.  the pics talk for themselves, a
tribute to excellent photographers who succeeded in making whatever
statement

2) an excellent analysis of Kodak's entry and place in the digital
camera market.  perhaps the best part is the insight into the entire
digital marketplace, not just Kodak. "a digital camera's life span is in
months" gives food for thought.
