Leica IIIf cameras change to Red Dial at Serial Number 611000. The shutter speeds also change to the numbers you quote, whereas the BD uses 1/30, 1/60, etc. Check your serial number. I suspect that you, like me, have a Red Dial camera whose dial numbers show up as BLACK. Whether they have been repainted or just change with time, I can't say. The RD camera can be synched at 1/25 using a dial setting of 0, or at 1/50 using a dial setting of 20. This information comes from pages 166-167 of the 1955 issue of The Leica Manual and Data Book by Morgan and Lester.
