Almost now fading and what there was has been uniform loss of density. I printed it with my 1270. I have also had some B&W prints hanging for about four years in a well lit window setting with no fading, also with an Epson 1270. I believe that some manufacturers do not pay attention to archival qualities, but others do, Epson being one, and HP in some lines being another. 0.02 Don dorysrus@mindspring.com -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+dorysrus=mindspring.com@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+dorysrus=mindspring.com@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Tarek Charara Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2004 3:57 AM To: Leica Users Group Subject: RE: [Leica] HP7960 now the HP8450 De Alexander Glissan <alexglissan@hotmail.com>, le dimanche 5 d?cembre 2004 ? 19:48 GMT : >I have noticed with >most "prints" from a computer printer that the prints fade to green in about >two days if hit by direct sunlight for any period of time. Or are they as robust as silver prints???? I have made some pictures for a restaurant, printed on an Epson 2200. They hang outside in a frame and have not shifted colors in any way... All the Best!
