What all that says to me is that this film camera is going to have a digital back, making it an all-in-one for those who have a big investment in Nikon lenses, will still be shooting some film, but also want digital. AND, I'd bet it's going to be Nikon's full-frame digital, because while they have pretty much committed to putting their digital resources in speed, reliability, low battery drain, and other things that PJs need, there are probably plenty of pros, including PJS, who X times a year would like to have a full-frame but can't justify a separate body. This way, they can combine their film and full-frame body. But I'm just guessing obviously. -----Original Message----- From: lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org [mailto:lug-bounces+bdcolen=earthlink.net@leica-users.org] On Behalf Of Mark Rabiner Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 6:22 PM To: Leica Users Group Subject: Re: [Leica] Re: Nikon's profits tripled On 11/17/04 12:32 PM, "B. Although I'm not sure if anyone ever saw them on the R8. Mark Rabiner Photography Portland Oregon http://rabinergroup.com/ _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
