This is a very real problem for photographers today and is the main reason 
that I am switching to digital from film.  I cannot continue to travel with 
300 rolls of film when security has to examine each roll and the airline is 
going to weigh my film and my heavier M and R lenses and cameras.  The 
Canon digital cameras, lenses, and CF cards weigh much less and can be 
x-rayed without damage.  This is just one more reason that Leica is likely 
to continue to lose professional photographers as users and, therefore, is 
an appropriate topic for the Leica Users Group.  Sorry, Brian.  I don't 
often disagree with you, but this time I do.
