Subject: [Leica] fake?
From: nicholsj at edge.net (Jim Nichols)

Feli,

I compared it to my IIIa, but its hard to see what is under the black paint
job. It looks as if it could be a IIIa, but there's something odd-looking
about the serial number. I came to no conclusion.
