I am seriously considering somehow procuring a R-D1. My fuzzy logic is
this: if I were to get a Digital camera, my choices are pretty much
narrowed down to Olympus E-1 and the R-D1 with the 20D running in 3rd
place. If I get either the E-1 or the 20D, I will need to spend some money
to get some good lens. Or I can just get the R-D1 and use my M lens. The
final price would be similar. Of course the M lens aren't the same as the
E-1/20D zoom/primes, but I am happy with the M lens. Heck, I even have a
Tri-Elmar to fit that 28-35-50 frameline so within the limits of the camera
system, I should be pretty happy with it.
