I was thinking that the semi transparent red polish could work as a RED
filter for B&W...;_)

That does work very well - as long as you don't put it on the front
element... :-)

I solved this on my CV 35 Ultron, by putting a drop of RED Nail Polish
on it. ;-)  Makes a great index indicator.
