According to the article which I think I sent to BD a while back the bulk of the commercial or professional photographers market is not of course the very visible press photographers. This is just the market the Canon very aggressively went after assuming correctly that this would give the impression that ALL pro's where using their stuff. According to the article (maybe BD still has it) the pro photographers doing commercial work but not the very visible if not as glitzy as they appear press work are still firmly entrenched in Nikon like they had been in previous decades. The Canon take over is a myth. And when I talk to the sales people behind the counters at Pro photo and CameraWorld both here in Portland Oregon this is confirmed. The Canon take over myth might have fooled the bulk of the paying masses and pro wanabee's.... But it has not fooled the bulk of the pros.
