I know most of the folks at KEH on a cold beer basis and their bargain will rate as an excellent minus from some NY houses. As to warranty, you have fourteen days (sixty days for a repair warranty) to abuse the camera and if it breaks or doesn't suit you in any fashion KEH will make good on the camera. The real point is that the F5 is a professional tool and no professional is using film much, so no one is buying them. Keh's "ask for" price is $1,895.00. MSRP is $2,200.00. See: http://www.keh.com/shop/SHOWCARTP.CFM?CRID=8351595&SKID=NA02999020813M1& SID=new&BID=NA&CID=02&SOID=N&dpsp=0 So unless B.D. can produce "New in Box" Nikon F5's with full Nikon US Warranty from a reputable source for about $1,200.00 he is, as usual, completely and utterly full of it. BTW B.D., $1,895.00 is not "about $1,200.00, it is "about" $1,900.00. His original post: B. D. Colen wrote: > > >"Speaking of upheavals - You can now find 'new in box' Nikon F5s for > >about $1200.
