Well, I have been taking the opportunity to flesh out the Leica R
system. That means going long on the lenses and adding extenders and
close focusing devices. The only problem I am encountering is that some
of the Leitz lens' bodies seemed to have been milled out of a solid
block of steel. I don't know if I need a gym membership to handle
them...or if I lift them rigorously several times a day, I can tell
SWMBO that the lens are in lieu of a gym membership ... and therefore I
am saving money and getting healthy.

Particularly thanks to Ted Grant and Martin Howard for helping to guide
me through these (to me) major purchases.
