Unless they have done a major makeover of the viewfinder, it won't be very effective (the 50mm lines would be a small box in the middle of the viewfinder). Part of my bias here is that the new crop of zoom lenses for digitals look very good to me. The ones with CA tend to be the 40-400 superzooms, which I don't care much about anyway. If you can give me a really good 28-90 (35mm equivalent) zoom in a digital camera, it will cover me for just about anything I want to do.
