Subject: [Leica] lens repair/cleaning

My friendly neighbourhood Leica guy is off on holiday for the rest of the
month and I noticed some sort of object inside a lens earlier this
evening. It's a reasonably new 50mm summilux and the object is small
enough that it would only show up in shots where I have the lens wide open
but I'm wondering how it got there to begin with. So, is it possible to
get it cleaned and, if so, is it going to cost me a small fortune? Should
I bother or just consider that the lens is showing its use and developing
character? :)
