You probably have 2 unrelated problems....  I believe they do NOT allow
cameras to be brought into (Federal) court buildings.  Then you must get
permission to actually take pictures.

You could check the first issues out by calling the bureaucrat in charge (
which will not hold water on the day of the event).

Bring a cardboard P+S.  No risk.  ( and No gain)
