Subject: [Leica] More hoopers/PAW 24 from Aaron

After my previous success(?) shooting the local hula hoopers, I went back
again to the weekly after-work-music-and-picnic and got some pix of Julia
doing her thing.

She's amazing to watch, because she really gets into a zone and tunes out
everything around her. I was trying to capture that with my main
shot...I'm not sure it entirely worked, so you'll have to take my word for
it. ;)

Then, after securing her cooperation, I put my 21 (c/v) on and lay down on
the ground for her to hoop over my head. Those hoops are heavy, being made
out of PVC pipe, but she's good. I selected a slow shutter speed (maybe
1/15 or even 1/8) in an attempt to capture the motion. Unfortunately, it
was too slow and the hoop was invisible in most of the shots. My alternate
shows a little bit of hoop, but I don't think you can tell what's going on
without the explanation. Next time I'll try a faster shutter speed and try
to place her in a better background.

Thanks for looking...comments always appreciated,
Aaron
