Subject: [Leica] The "discipline" of using only one lens

Buzz Hausner's remark about "discipline" and having to "work harder" when
you have just one lens, reminds me of the AP photographers with the 4x5 Speed
Graphic in the old days.
They knew they had to get one, maybe two, good shots on their cut-film
holder and get them back to the office fast, before the competition at UP did.
That meant concentration, technique and above all speed. Technique comes
in knowing what your camera & lens can do. Having 36 chances to get a good shot
make lots of us lazy. If we knew we had to deliver with, say, just 12
exposures, we might "work harder" to make every shot count. [A lot of the commentary
on the PLUG seem to look down on just shooting away in the hope of eventually
getting a good shot.].-- bob cole
