Is it time for us to get out our Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn books? Or have
we done that thread already?

>looking at the world in terms of ?good? and ?evil.? If you?re our ?enemy,?
>you?re ?evil.? It?s that kind of language that allows the dehumanization of
the
>enemy, and the notion that we don?t need to abide by the Geneva
conventions.

Well, this also sounds childish to me. I listen to the good/evil language
and hear the equivalent of kids screaming at each other, "you're a so and
so." "well you're a bigger so and so."

"we don't torture as bad as those guys."

"when a civilian dies at our hands, we didn't mean it, it was an accident.
but those guys actually wanted to kill us. we only kill precisely or by
accident.

what?

>?Our God is
>an Awesome God.?

NO! OUR GOD IS THE AWESOME GOD. YOUR GOD IS NOTHING.

Now we're really making progress ;-)
