I've got to disagree with you on this one, Nathan - to me this shot is
very evocative of a certain kind of place at a certain time of
day....and if you don't like the unsharp foreground, you must hate
Noctilux shots, as they create very blurred foregrounds and backgrounds,
with a sliver of sharpness dropped into the middle like a paper
cutout... ;-)

I was really attracted by this one

when looking at the thumbnails. But when I opened the large image, I was
put off by the large area of unsharp vegetation in the foreground. The
light in the image is beautiful but this unsharpness in the foreground
bothers me.
