Subject: [Leica] why is the R4 so cheap?

as always you bring an uncanny wisdom that those of us who pore over
lager and laney and rogliatti which concentrate on specs.  
if don't give a fig for
TTL (i even have the big metz 60CT4 and have never bought the TTL
modules.)  mut a caremea that's unrealiable is not fun.  i have now
reached a critical mass where there is virtually guaranteed at one
time there will be something getting repaired (currenctly the SLR2MOT).

it demonstrates that things drift to their correct prices eventually
and that great arbtritrage is a rare thing.  the TTL is not worth the
$200 difference between an R4 and R5; greater reliability and 
serviceability probably is.
