Also if you put the camera away for some period of time, your exposure would almost surely change as the light level will change, so why not just turn the camera off? the amount of time it takes to check exposure after turning the camera on is negligible and since you would have to adjust exposure anyway after a period of off time, you loose no time prior to shooting in this situation. Either that, or I am really Igornant. ;-) Gene |---------+--------------------------------------------------------> | | John Collier <jbcollier@shaw.ca> | | | Sent by: | | | lug-bounces+grduprey=rockwellcollins.com@leic| | | a-users.org | | | | | | | | | 04/21/2004 01:48 PM | | | Please respond to Leica Users Group | | | | |---------+--------------------------------------------------------> >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| | | | To: Leica Users Group <lug@leica-users.org> | | cc: | | Subject: Re: [Leica] the Rose on/off switch | >-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Actually it is M6TTL users who are most interested in the Rose switch. Many people like to leave the exposure set even when bagging the camera. This does not work well if your TTL has a softie mounted.
