It's kind of magic: the boiling water creates pressure (remember steam
engine ...?0 and pushes the water up.  You wait a minute and remove the heat
... The steam cools down and condenses back to water and creates a vacuum
... And zooom the whole juice is sucked through the filter.

When I left the LUG some years ago there was so much silly fighting and name
calling going pom that I got really tired and left.  Lurking the last two
days was most enjoyable ... Yes, Jeffrey, there was no BS in CowPAW: That
was funny

Look out for a Cona coffee maker, or a Bodum (Danish?), they're both 
made with 2 glass balls.
Conas will cost a packet, the Bodum is cheaper and , AFAIK just as good. I
never did figure out how they worked, the water suddenly shoots up 
into the top glass and then
runs down through the coffee powder and back into the bottom glass - magic ?
