I spent my college years in the mid 70's in N.O. and wasted a fair 
amount of time in the Canal  St K&B as well. Just to keep this on 
topic, whatever happened to Alfredo's Camera in the CBD ?(near the 
Cotton Exchange). He was a Leica dealer and had also lots of used 
equipment, including some fake military paint Leicas. I remember a 
couple in sand beige with the Afrika Korps palm tree and swastika on 
them. Now there's an idea for the Russians to pick up for eBay.....
