Hogwash.

For traveling, I use my G1228/B1 with my Hasselblad regularly. The 1228 is 
amazingly rigid and works just fine with a Hasselblad. The thing about a 
Hasselblad is that you do not extend the tripod way up since it is normally 
not an eye-level use camera. For non-travel use, I use a G1349 and a 
Rational head.

Bottom line, the G1228/B1 works very well with a Hasselblad.
