Why not?>> This must be the same type of warning that accompanied the CL. Leica feared that collapsible lenses would impact the swinging exposure cell. The remedy was to fit collar of Dymo tape to prevent the lenses from collapsing all the way. In practice this proved unnecessary, at least for the 50 mm Summicron.
