Flat screens are in my oppinion still no good for photographies - but if you
use them create a profile and calibrate the screen - have different profiles
for diferent screens

To Peter Dzwig - unless you are really well of and can afford a bacho screen
with external calibration tools wich again is overkill if you are "Just"
going to print on an epson then go for a lacie/D2 monitor 21" - they are
more colourconsistant then Dell monitors and cheaper than Sony and available
both in grey and black. Itried one in black with a special cover to pull
over top and sides to leave ambient light out but the only effect was
afeeling of cluastrofobia. I you have photoshop and a color calibrating tool
from you screen manufactor you will be well off
