I like the analog 'fuel guage' :-).
I see no problem with having different (part old style, part new
style) controls on a digital camera. The user interface on most
digital cameras is hardly optimal; the 'tiny-buttonitis' that most
display is ludicrous and requires a lot of use before it becomes even
partially comfortable. I've shot maybe 15,000 pictures with my D60,
but changing many of the settings still requires that I get out the
manual.
