I was starting to feel like a freak carrying my camera with whatever lens I felt like attached, along with a couple of lenses that are (gasp) protected by nothing other than a camera bag or my pocket. Another few messages like this and I would have started tearing my attic apart to find my lens cases so that my lenses could have multiple layers of protection between them and picture-taking. On the other hand, I think I may have benefited from this sort of behavior in several of my "mint-" Leica purchases. :) - -Aaron At 10:30 AM 3/8/2004, Sonny wrote: >One point keeps being made over and over, that many people carry their >cameras around in a fashion preventing them from acting when a >photograph jumps out in front of them. > >I was particularly horrified to hear some people dismnount their lenses >so they will snuggle safely in the 803 or whatever bag. > >How unfair this is to your lens and camera, who love to be co-joined for >the express purpose of making pictures.
