The focusing acts like a well damped USM set up as the ring turned with no stop. It felt about like my 24 M so they did a good job. Is the focusing real helicoid, metal on metal, or is it pseudo focus by wire? My Minolta D7 has a mechanical focus ring, but it isn't connected directly to the lens, and the focusing is done electronically, in discrete steps. - -dan c. - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
