despite the fact that i was never wholly satisfied with the argument
postulated by leica itself a couple of years ago as to why the M system
could never be adapted to digital, i kept my mouth shut.  talking about
a digital M was only fuel for flame wars.

it's exciting, and with full-frame digicams below $5K, (the last-generation
Kodak DCS Pro 14n is under $3K new at B&H) maybe the timing is not late,
but smart.

but for goodness sakes, please make it a full-frame.  anything else would
be a lost opportunity.
