It's an excellent little lens. Again, the focal length is odd...Frankly, I don't really see it as a portrait lens, but then to each her own....But the image quality is excellent and the cost is Cosina - need I say more? - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us] On Behalf Of Erik van der Meulen Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2004 9:37 AM To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: RE: [Leica] WTT: 35mm f1.4 ASPH MINT for 75mm f1.4 MINT On Fri, Feb 20, 2004 at 11:52:33AM -0500, Phong wrote: > B. Could anyone comment on the quality of the Voigtlander Heliar-Color 2.5/75? I think that the 75mm would suit me for portrait work, where I find my 90 Elmarit a little too large. Sure it won't come near the 75 Lux, but is it a decent lens anyway? Any suggestions much appreciated! - -- Erik van der Meulen <e.van.der.meulen@avondel.com> - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
